As a child, I remember walking through a field and finding a dandelion. Though a lowly weed, the beauty and structure of these “puff balls” fascinated me. Taking a deep breath and blowing them skyward made me feel powerful. Even though I couldnt fly, I had just released a veritable army of “parachutes” to soar at dizzying heights till they were finally carried out of my sight into the sky.
Prayer is much the same experience. As we participate with people who want to pray we feel that same sense of power. They things we whisper to God are carried by the wind of the Holy Spirit to the highest heaven!
I invite you to come with us as we set out to pray for our pastors, churches and the communities they live in. Together, our faith will rise as we release our requests to a waiting God who has promised to hear and answer when we call to Him. Journey with us on this adventure called prayer.
